Support Group with Dr. Quinn
Avamere at Sherwood assisted living is proud to welcome Dr. Joseph Quinn to our Alzheimer's Support Group. Dr. Quinn has served as a neurologist clinician in the Oregon Alzheimer's Disease Center since 1994 and has served as Director of the Genetics and Biomarkers Core since 2007. Dr. Quinn's overall research focus is on developing strategies for treating and preventing Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.The translation of ideas from the laboratory to the clinic is a particular interest, the Biomarkers Core helps develop blood tests and other disease markers for use in clinical trials which are necessary to move treatment ideas from animal models to human subjects.
